Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَرْمٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةٍ غَزَاهَا بِامْرَأَةٍ مَقْتُولَةٍ " فَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ، وَالصِّبْيَانِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a slain woman in one of the battles, so he forbade the killing of women and children.
