حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ وَهُوَ الْأَعْشَى، عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ الشَّامِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا، أَلْبَسَهُ اللهُ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever wears a garment of fame in this world, Allah will clothe him with a garment of humiliation on the Day of Resurrection."
