حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّيَّاحِ (١) ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، الْخَمِيسَ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ، وَالِاثْنَيْنِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ، وَالِاثْنَيْنِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast three days every month: on the first Thursday of the month, on Monday of the following week, and again on Monday of the week after that.
