حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنٌ " فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: " مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) appointed Dhu’l-Hulaifah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfah for the people of Sham, and Qarn for the people of Najd; and people say that the Prophet (ﷺ) appointed Yalamlam as the miqat for the people of Yemen.
