Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تَمْنَعُوا النِّسَاءَ أَنْ يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ، وَبُيُوتُهُنَّ خَيْرٌ لَهُنَّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do not prevent women of the Ummah from coming to the mosques, but their houses are better for them."
