Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ، وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا مِنْ عِنْدِ الْكَعْبَيْنِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If a pilgrim in the state of Ihram does not find shoes, then he should wear leather socks, but he should cut them below the ankles."
