حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فِي السَّفَرِ أَيْنَمَا تَوَجَّهَتْ، ، بِهِ، (١) قَالَ: وَذَكَرَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السَّفَرِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to offer voluntary prayers on his mount, regardless of which direction it was facing, and he used to mention that the Prophet (ﷺ) also used to do so during travel.
