Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ يَقُولُ: " يُنْصَبُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَا غَدْرَةَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ غَدْرَةِ إِمَامِ عَامَّةٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying near the chamber of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the Day of Resurrection, a flag will be raised for every deceiver, and there will be no deception greater than the deception of the head of state.
