حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا، ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا لَقِيتَ الْحَاجَّ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَيْهِ وَصَافِحْهُ، وَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When you meet a pilgrim, greet him with salam, shake hands with him, and ask him to pray for your forgiveness before he enters his home, for he is forgiven."
