Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ أَنْ تُؤَدَّى، ، قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) commanded that the Sadaqat al-Fitr should be given before going out to the Eid prayer ground.
