Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، (٢) عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ رِيحٍ وَبَرْدٍ فِي سَفَرٍ (٣) ، أَمَرَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَأَذَّنَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " الصَّلَاةُ فِي الرِّحَالِ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ), during journeys on cold nights or rainy nights, would announce the prayer and then proclaim that everyone should pray in their own tents.
