Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَتَحَرَّيَنَّ (٣) أَحَدُكُمْ فَيُصَلِّيَ قَبْلَ (٤) طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ، وَلَا عِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا " قُلْتُ لِمَالِكٍ: عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ؟ قَالَ:، ، نَعَمْ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not intend to pray at the time of sunrise or sunset."
