حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ، فَقَالَ: " لَسْتُ بِآكِلِهِ وَلَا مُحَرِّمِهِ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the lizard, so he (ﷺ) said: "I neither eat it nor do I declare it unlawful."
