Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَنْتَجِي (١) اثْنَانِ دُونَ وَاحِدٍ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When you are three people, then two of you should not start whispering to each other, leaving the third one out."
