حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، (٣) وَالْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ؟ فَقَالَ: " لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ " (٤)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the lizard, so he (ﷺ) said: "I neither eat it nor do I declare it unlawful."
