Abdullah Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I once heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrating this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he (peace be upon him) forbade (the use of) wars and saffron. I asked, "For a person in the state of ihram?" He replied, "Yes."
