English translation
Mus'ab bin Sa'd (may Allah have mercy on him) says that some people came to Ibn 'Amir to visit him during his illness and began to praise him. Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who had been sitting silently before, said: "I will not deceive you more than them. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah does not accept charity from stolen spoils of war, nor does He accept prayer without purification."
