حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا نَقْتُلُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ إِذَا أَحْرَمْنَا؟ فَقَالَ: " خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ: الْحِدَأَةُ، (١) وَالْفَأْرَةُ، وَالْغُرَابُ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once someone asked the Prophet (ﷺ): O Messenger of Allah! After entering into Ihram, which animals are we allowed to kill? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There is no harm in killing five kinds of animals: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog."
