English translation

Abdullah bin Maqdam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I saw Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) walking at a normal pace between Safa and Marwah during Sa'i, so I asked him: O Abu Abdur Rahman! Why are you not walking fast? He replied: The Prophet (ﷺ) sometimes walked fast here and sometimes did not.
