Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَاسِعَ بْنَ حَبَّانَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: لَقَدْ ظَهَرْتُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ (٢) عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتِنَا، " فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلًا بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that one day I climbed onto the roof of my house and saw that the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting facing towards Syria on two bricks, relieving himself.
