Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: " مَا أَتَيْتُ عَلَى الرُّكْنِ مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُهُ، فِي شِدَّةٍ وَلَا رَخَاءٍ، إِلَّا مَسَحْتُهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he saw the Prophet (ﷺ) touching the Black Stone, so I will continue to touch it regardless of any hardship or ease.
