Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) returned from the Battle of Uhud, the women of the Ansar began to weep over their martyred husbands. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Is there no one to weep for Hamza?" Then the Prophet (ﷺ) fell asleep, and when he woke up, those women were still weeping in the same way. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Today, they will keep weeping by mentioning the name of Hamza."
