حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: "شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ "، قَالَ: ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ (٣) مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَصَلَّى بِلَا، ، أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ "، قَالَ: ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ (١) مَعَ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّى بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ، ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ عُثْمَانَ فَصَلَّى بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I was present with the Prophet (ﷺ) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah. Then I was present with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah. Then I was present with Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah. Then I was present with Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah.
