Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The example of the Qur'an is like that of a tied camel; if its owner keeps it tied, it remains under his control, but if he lets it loose, it runs away. Similarly is the example of the possessor of the Qur'an who recites it day and night."
