Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) was returning from the Battle of Hunayn, on the way Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him about a vow from the time of ignorance which he had made regarding i'tikaf for one day. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered him to fulfill his vow, and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) departed from there and sent with me the slave woman whom he had received in the Battle of Hunayn. I lodged her in the house of a villager. Suddenly, I saw that all the captives of the Battle of Hunayn were running away and saying that the Prophet (ﷺ) had set them free. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also said to Abdullah, "Go and set her free." So I went and released that slave woman.
