Abu Hanzala says that I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the prayer during travel. He replied that during travel, the prayer is two rak'ahs. We said, "Now there is peace and security everywhere, and we do not fear anyone?" He replied, "This is the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ)."
