Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَبَّيْكَ اللهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) reciting this Talbiyah, « لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ » "Here I am, O Allah! Here I am, O Allah! Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. All praise and all blessings are for You, and the sovereignty is Yours alone, You have no partner."
