. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

English translation

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that if I had not heard this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ) not once or twice, but seven times or even more, I would not have narrated it: Among the Children of Israel, there was a man named "Kifl" who did not refrain from any sin. Once, a woman came to him; he gave her sixty dinars on the condition that she would give herself to him. When he sat in the position with her in which a man sits with a woman, she began to tremble and weep. He asked, "Why are you crying? Have I forced you to do this?" She replied, "No, but I have never done this before; necessity has made me helpless to do this." Hearing this, Kifl said, "Are you doing this, even though you have never done it before?" Saying this, he withdrew and said to her, "Go, the dinars are also yours." And he said, "Now Kifl will never disobey Allah." That very night, he died. In the morning, it was written on his door: Allah Almighty has forgiven Kifl.
