حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، (٢) عَنْ أَبِي حَنْظَلَةَ،، ، سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ: عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي السَّفَرِ، قَالَ: " الصَّلَاةُ فِي السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ " قُلْنَا: إِنَّا آمِنُونَ قَالَ: " سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Hanzalah says that I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the prayer during travel. He replied that during travel, the prayer is two rak'ahs. We said, "But now there is safety and security everywhere?" He replied: "This is the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ)."
