Musnad Ahmad Hadith 4641

Amr bin Dinar says that once people began discussing whether, if a man enters into the state of ihram for Umrah, it becomes permissible for him to approach his wife before performing sa’i between Safa and Marwah or not? We asked this question to Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), and he replied that it is not permissible for him to do this before performing sa’i between Safa and Marwah. Then we asked the same question to Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he replied that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came to Makkah, performed seven circuits of tawaf, prayed two rak’ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim, and performed sa’i between Safa and Marwah. Then he said that in the Messenger of Allah you have the best example.
