. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to walk briskly (raml) in the first three circuits of Tawaf and walk at a normal pace in the remaining four circuits. He believed that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) also used to do the same, and he would walk at a normal pace between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone so that it would be easier to perform istilam (touching or gesturing towards the Black Stone).
