Musnad Ahmad Hadith 4599

Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I had the honor of accompanying Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) on a journey from Makkah Mukarramah to Madinah Munawwarah. During this time, I heard him narrate only one hadith of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and it was this: Once we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) when a bunch of dates was brought to him from somewhere. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Among the trees, there is a tree that is like a Muslim (can you tell which tree it is?)" I wanted to say that it is the date palm tree, but when I looked, I saw that I was the youngest among all the people present in that gathering, so I remained silent. Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) himself said that it is the date palm tree.
