حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ (٢) يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ: " أَنَّ جَارِيَةً، لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَانَتْ تَرْعَى غَنَمًا لَهُ بِسَلْعٍ، بَلَغَ الْمَوْتُ شَاةً مِنْهَا، فَأَخَذَتْ ظُرَرَةً، فَذَكَّتْهَا بِهِ (٣) ، فَأَمَرَهُ (٤) بِأَكْلِهَا " (٥)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
Nafi’ (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I heard a man from Banu Salamah narrating this hadith in the presence of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): Ka’b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) had a slave girl who used to graze his goats at “Sal’.” One of those goats was about to die, so the slave girl took a sharp-edged stone and slaughtered the goat with it. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) permitted them to eat it.
