حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، سَمِعَ صَدَقَةَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ (١) يَقُولُ: - يَعْنِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -: " يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ، وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ - وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، وَسَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -: مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي، ، الْحُلَيْفَةِ (١) " قَالُوا لَهُ: فَأَيْنَ أَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " لَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The people of Madinah should assume ihram from Dhu'l-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhfah, the people of Yemen from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd from Qarn." People asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), "Where is the miqat for the people of Iraq?" He replied, "At that time, there was no miqat for it."
