حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ أَوْ غَزْوٍ فَأَوْفَى عَلَى فَدْ فَدٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ قَالَ: " لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، صَدَقَ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ، آيِبُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would return from Hajj, Jihad, or Umrah, he would recite this supplication upon ascending any elevated ground: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. Returning in repentance, in prostration, in worship, and returning while praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and defeated all the armies alone.
