حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا، أَوْ يَكُونَ بَيْعَ خِيَارٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: The seller and the buyer have the option (to cancel the transaction) as long as they do not separate, or until it is a sale with an option.
