Original Arabic
قَرِئَ عَلَى (١) سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ: الزُّهْرِيُّ، (٢) عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَأْكُلْ مِنْ لَحْمِ أُضْحِيَّتِهِ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "No person should eat from his sacrificial meat for more than three days (later this command was abrogated)."
