حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَقَّتَ، - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: مُهَلُّ - أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَأَهْلِ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ (١) قَالَ: وَذُكِرَ لِي وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ: " وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) fixed Dhu’l-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfah for the people of Sham, and Qarn for the people of Najd. And I have been informed, though I did not hear it myself, that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people of Yemen will assume ihram from Yalamlam.
