حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ: (١) سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، رَجُلًا يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ، فَقَالَ: " الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man advising another regarding modesty (saying: do not be so modest), so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Modesty is a part of faith."
