Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When any of your wives asks permission to go to the mosque, he should not refuse her permission." The wife of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to go to the mosque to pray. Once, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to her, "You know that I do not like this." She replied, "As long as you do not explicitly forbid me, I will not stop." Thus, when Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was fatally attacked, she was present in the mosque.
