Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي الْغَطَفَانِيَّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ، ، نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ الْقَزَعِ، وَالْقَزَعُ أَنْ يُحْلَقَ الصَّبِيُّ، فَيُتْرَكَ بَعْضُ شَعَرِهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade "Qaza’". "Qaza’" means that when cutting a child's hair, some hair is cut and some is left.
