Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ شَيْخٍ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فَكَبَّرَ ثِنْتَيْنِ، ، وَعِشْرِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً، فَأَتَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: " لَا أُمَّ لَكَ، " تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
We travelled with the Prophet (ﷺ) between Makkah and Madinah and we were safe, not fearing anything, and he offered the prayers with two rak'ahs.
