Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُدَيْرٍ، وَمُعَاذٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حُدَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ: قَامَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فَقَالَ: الصَّلَاةَ، فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: الصَّلَاةَ، فَسَكَتَ عَنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: الصَّلَاةَ، فَقَالَ: أَنْتَ تُعْلِمُنَا بِالصَّلَاةِ؟ " قَدْ كُنَّا نَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ " قَالَ مُعَاذٌ: " عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The best days on which to be treated with cupping are the seventeenth, the nineteenth and the twenty-first." And he said: "I never passed by any group of angels on the night on which I was taken on the Night Journey but they said: You should adhere to treatment with cupping, O Muhammad.”
