Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: " نَحَرْنَا فَرَسًا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَكَلْنَا لَحْمَهُ " أَوْ " مِنْ لَحْمِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Asma that during the Prophetic era, we once slaughtered a horse and also ate it.
