Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ، قَالَتْ: " وَلَقَدْ أَمَرَنَا (٣) رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي، ، صَلَاةِ (١) كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Asma that the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded us to free slaves on the occasion of a solar eclipse.
