حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَوْنٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، يُحَدِّثُ، قَالَ: قَالَ مَرْوَانُ: كَيْفَ نَسْأَلُ أَحَدًا عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَفِينَا أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، فَسَأَلَهَا، فَقَالَتْ: " دَخَلَ (١) عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَشَلْتُ لَهُ كَتِفًا مِنْ قِدْرٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا (٢) ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) ate the meat of the shoulder. During this, Bilal came, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) went for prayer without touching water.
