حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ " أَنَّ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ، فَوَصَفَ (١) {بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة: ١] حَرْفًا حَرْفًا، قِرَاءَةً بَطِيئَةً " قَطَّعَ عَفَّانُ، قِرَاءَتَهُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding the recitation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that she demonstrated by reciting the first three verses of Surah Al-Fatihah separately (pausing at the end of each verse).
