English translation

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh used to have continuous bleeding (istihada). When she would bathe in her tub and come out, there would be a predominance of yellowness and muddiness on its surface. Umm Salamah asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about its ruling. The Prophet (ﷺ) said that she should wait for as many days and nights as she used to face impurity previously, and estimate those days in the month, and leave the prayer for that many days. After that, she should bathe, tie a cloth, and start praying.
