Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that, except for one woman from Banu Qurayza, no one else was killed. She was sitting with me, talking and laughing, while outside the Prophet (ﷺ) was killing the men of her tribe. Suddenly, a man called her by name and said, "Where is such-and-such woman?" She replied, "By Allah! That is me." I said to her, "Alas! What is the matter?" She said, "I will be killed." I asked her, "Why?" She replied, "I did something." So she was taken away and her neck was struck. By Allah, I can never forget my amazement that she was so cheerful and laughing, even though she knew she would be killed.
