English translation
Narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the news of the martyrdom of Zaid bin Harithah and Abdur Rahman bin Rawahah (may Allah be pleased with them) came, the Prophet (ﷺ) sat down on the ground and signs of grief were visible on his blessed face. I was peeking through a hole in the door when a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! The women of Ja'far are weeping." The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Forbid them." The man went and after a short while returned and said, "I have forbidden them but they do not listen to me." This happened three times. Finally, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, "Go and fill their mouths with dust." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said to him, "May Allah fill you with dust! By Allah, you neither do what the Prophet (ﷺ) commands you nor do you leave them alone."
